Every single choice in Terraforma is a conscious choice. The selection of materials, finishes, assembly systems and logistics follows a careful analysis of the life cycle of each individual element involved in the production chain. A process aimed at maximizing industrial efforts while respecting our planet and the environment in which we live. The same environment that will generously host Terraforma products, entirely made with certified raw materials, up to their distant disuse. Just then they can be disposed of responsibly and sustainably thanks to their high posthumous recyclability rate.
FINISHES DATA
The metal elements are made in steel and aluminium, treated to withstand weathering. The top of the tables are made in 10 mm Abet HPL with black thickness. Wood boards are totally in natural solid teak. Nautical rope is a 16-strand woven polyester, 6 mm thick, resistant to external agents such as sun, rain and wide temperature changes.

FABRICS DATA
The fabrics used for the outdoor furnishings in the Terraforma collections are made of solution-dyed 100% acrylic Sunbrella or Dickson, specifically designed for exteriors, which offers a high level of resistance to atmospheric agents and wear-and-tear. Water-repellent, stain- and mould-resistant. This material is also treated to retain the original colour, protecting it against exposure to sunlight and the action of water.

MAINTENANCE
Terraforma products have been made with the utmost attention to every single detail. Materials and finishes have been carefully selected to withstand all weather conditions, including the most hostile and changeable ones, in order to guarantee their longevity. The products must be properly cleaned and stored in sheltered places during prolonged periods of non-use or in the winter seasons. We recommend a more frequent periodic cleaning in places characterized by high humidity or marine climate. For each product are also available special protective rain covers, which allow both a safe shelter in the seasons of inactivity, and an elegant solution to protect them according to the user’s needs. The covers are easy to put on and extremely practical to clean. The coatings are water-repellent, stain-proof and anti-mold. Any stains can be eliminated by following the manufacturer’s instructions (sunbrella.com) without removing the linings, as they are water and stain resistant fabric. The nautical rope in 16-strand woven polyester, 6mm thick, is resistant to external agents, sun, rain and sudden changes in temperature. The wood is raw teak and can be treated with special oils. Being a natural material, color variations or even micro-cracks could be observed due to the degree of humidity and sudden changes in temperature. To keep the product in good condition for a long time, we recommend a correct periodic cleaning, more frequent in places characterized by high humidity and marine climate.
